Sarah is an Illinois-based scholar-practitioner, strategist, and educator who brings a passion for collective liberation to all aspects of her work. As a practitioner who has benefited from intentional communities, she aims to work alongside partners striving to move beyond compliance-based diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, toward futures that prioritize the holistic wellbeing of individuals, teams, and communities.
With more than a decade of experience in the movement to end violence, Sarah has bolstered the capacity of organizations as a strategist, trainer, policy advisor, and educator. Her experience spans sectors, including roles as a national technical assistance provider, director of a large midwestern university's prevention and advocacy resource center, collegiate instructor, and an organizational development consultant.
Sarah is a trained domestic violence and sexual assault crisis intervention advocate with an M.S. in Public Service Management from DePaul University. In 2015 she was invited as an International Delegate to the Centre Hubertine Auclert in Paris, and continues her thought leadership through national collaborations and publications.
